Day Two:

Studying more of the landscape, this route takes you along a parallel route to the trip that Lincoln made on his trip through the Circuit in the mid-1800s. Into Danville’s Vermilion County Museum, a facsimile of the original courthouse where Lincoln argued cases, and on through to a plethora of historic sites and landscapes unrivaled anywhere else in the world, this second day offers a rare glimpse into both the hardship and rustic beauty of the Circuit, as well as a taste of the friendships Lincoln made in his time.
