An exciting new promotion is being developed by the Looking for Lincoln Heritage Coalition featuring the sites and communities of the Illinois Eighth Judicial Circuit during the time of Abraham Lincoln.

The locations explored in this project highlight the development of Abraham Lincoln into the man he would become as the 16th President of the United States.  From early in his legal career as a circuit-riding lawyer, visitors can follow Lincoln as he grows as a lawyer along these stops.  Rising along with Lincoln, visitors can follow the life of Lincoln as he grew and developed in each community during his more than two decades along the Eighth Judicial Circuit.
